Have you thought about dipping your toes in pro-metabolic eating but feel scared to increase your calories and start eating carbs and dairy again?
Are you sick of punishing yourself with grueling cardio and training sessions 6-7 days per week to maintain your weight?
If this is you then I’m sure you can relate to Trish's story.
Trish is 52, married with one daughter and lives in Melbourne. She’s done almost everything from 500-calorie and 1200-calorie diets and Jenny Craig to avoiding carbs altogether and going full Paleo for two years in an effort to improve her health.
When she first started pro-metabolic eating she struggled to introduce carbs and dairy and was terrified of gaining weight if she increased her calories.
In this podcast she shares her journey including how she successfully introduced carbs and dairy back into her diet, how she trains, the card...
A lot of women think if they get their training and nutrition down pat, everything will be great.....and yes it's a great start and definitely foundational when it comes to healing but there is more to health than just the physical.
So, if you’re doing everything right but things aren’t falling into place like you thought, give this episode a listen.
You aren’t alone. We all struggle, we experience shame, and beat ourselves up from time to time.
The truth is there is ALWAYS going to be stress in your life, and finding ways to build our resilience and navigate through it is so important for obtaining health, happiness, and balance.

I wanted to do this to provide a quick update on my falling pregnant at 40 journey. I’ve had so many people ask me how it’s going and to share more about it so I thought I’d hop on and update everyone.
The 18 months have been one of self-discovery, to say the least.
When I set my sights on something, I’m all in, and trying to fall pregnant was no different....which in this case was to my detriment.
This is one of the most raw and vulnerable podcasts I've ever recorded.
I share everything from my anxiety, to sleepless nights, to feeling like a complete failure.
Happy listening I hope you find this podcast helpful and don't forget to take a screenshot of the episode and share it on Instagram stories and tag me at @kittyblomfield. Each month I choose someone who has shared and they get a tub of Saturée Premium Collagen valued at $79.

Prior to meeting Emma, I actually wouldn’t go to the bathroom for 2-3 days at a time. I just thought this was normal (it’s not), and I see so many women having the same issue. But really, there’s nothing more satisfying than a good poo! You just feel lighter and less weighed down. There are also a heap of reasons why it’s important to go regularly.
In this episode, we talk about:
➡️ How constipation is linked to low metabolic function
➡️Why it’s important to have one or more bowel movements per day
➡️What happens when you don’t go
➡️Why common recommendations to improve constipation don’t actually fix the root cause
➡️Tips for improving digestion and eliminating constipation
➡️What foods you should reduce
➡️The importance of movement and sun for regu...
Both Margie and Sarah have autoimmune conditions. Margie has spondylosis arthritis, and Sarah has Hashimotos. Yet, they’ve both managed to put their autoimmune conditions into remission.
Looking at Margie, you would have no idea she is 56 years old. She has amazing skin, great hair, and looks incredible (which she attributes to all the liver, collagen, oysters, and other great food she’s been eating). Sarah is a 36-year-old, single mum, who is studying part-time, and so far, has lost 14 kgs in our program. What these two women have achieved is so amazing, so I wanted to get them on here and share their incredible stories in hopes to inspire others to do the same.
In this episode, we chat about:
...We attract women of all ages into our Winatlife program but a large chunk of them are in their 40's and 50's and many of them suffer from perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms.
Things like hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings, vaginal dryness and weight gain.
Through diet and lifestyle changes we've not only helped them improve all their symptoms but also lose weight.
They didn't have to cut sugar, carbs, dairy or do a tonne of cardio to get these results.
Kate is almost 50 years old, and I turned 40 in January this year. So, we decided to sit down and talk about what is actually happening in the body during this time, the misconceptions surrounding it, what your doctor didn't tell you and how to support the body during this time of life.
In this episode, we discus...
I’ve actually had a lot of messages asking me about whether I'm still trying to conceive so I I’m planning to sit down and record a solo podcast in the next few weeks with an big update. It's been a very interesting 12 months, it’s been super challenging and it's probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.
So if you’ve been wondering where I'm at look out for that podcast I’ll release it in the next few weeks.
When Brit and Loren released their course I was lucky enough to be one of a handful of people to go through it before it before it was released and I was so impressed.
I often get asked questions about what to eat and how to train not only while preparing for pregnancy but also while pregnant so I thought it would be a great opportunity to get them on to discuss preparing for pregnancy and to debunk some common pregnancy...
Everyone is just so friendly and supportive, probably because they eat carbs and sugar 🤣
I’ve actually got this great chat group going in Whatsapp with @libbywescombe, @amykatebowe and @leilalutz.
I've had all of them on the podcast so if you haven't listened to their episodes I recommend you do.
They’re not only super knowledgeable but just awesome women.
We pretty much chat daily and I often hear Libby and Craig have little rants about the same things which makes me laugh 🤣
But in all seriousness I love how passionate and knowledgeable they are about all things training and body composition change.
One thing I hear both of them talk about quite a lot is all the women that come into their programs who have gained a lot of weight after transitioning to a pro-metabolic diet because they believe they need healing pounds.
So I thought I ‘d get them on to talk ...
Once she found pro-metabolic eating and added animal products back into her diet she got her period back, restored her metabolism and transformed her relationship with food.
Today, Chlo lives on this huge property in California with her family. They make their own jam and have their own beehives and chickens.
She’s super passionate about helping women heal their relationship with food and their bodies, restore their metabolisms, break free from restrictive diets and get their periods back.
I get a lot of questions from women about going vegan or plant based so I thought I'd get Chlo on the show to discuss the downfalls of these diets and why they really aren't that healthy.
