The sun has been demonised for decades. Slip, slop, slap. Cover up. Wear SPF. Avoid UV at all costs.
And yet… skin cancers are still rising. People who've never been in the sun are getting them on the bottoms of their feet, on their backs, in places that see zero sunlight.
My own family who've avoided the sun their whole lives have all had skin cancers removed. My brother, who never got sun, had stage four sarcoma. And when we got him eating properly, supplementing, changing his lifestyle and yes, getting daily sunlight his body responded brilliantly to chemo. His oncologist said he'd never seen anything like it.
So what's actually going on?
I brought Zaid Dahhaj onto the podcast this week to take a deep dive. He is a circadian biology educator to talk more about the sun.
We get into:
— Why melanin is NOT a sign of skin damage (and why calling it that has some seriously problematic roots)
— The real reason people are developing cancer in sun-deprived areas of their body
—...
She joined our team as a coach. But first? She had a tumour removed. Lost circulation in her arm. Was diagnosed with autoimmune disease. Bled through her period so badly she thought something was seriously wrong. And spent years being dismissed.
Meet Natasha NuStrength's newest coach, nutritionist, and the woman who has genuinely been through it. 🙌
In this episode we cover:
Why she weighed 55kg at 5'9" for most of her adult life
The thyroid issue nobody caught for years
How she gained 15kg going pro-metabolic… and what she'd do differently now
Why "healing pounds" are NOT a requirement (and how she coaches women away from this)
The HRT conversation women need to hear: why adding oestrogen alone can make things WORSE
Why progesterone is the missing piece for perimenopause symptoms
What happened when she started working with Coach Ash: 17cm in 10 weeks and the strongest she's ever been
Why coaches absolutely need coaches
Natasha's story is proof that the body wants to heal ...
The hormone therapy conversation is getting LOUDER, but is it getting more honest? 🤔
I sat down with my brilliant friend Anne Marie McQueen, founder of Hot Flash Inc and we went there. Like, really went there.
We talked about:
→ The estrogen narrative that's being pushed (and who's profiting from it)
→ Why hot flashes might not be a hormone problem at all
→ The foods that were wrecking her body disguised as "healthy"
→ Why menopause is actually an AWAKENING, not a disease
→ The fake study that doctors are STILL citing... even after the author said it doesn't exist
This one is going to make a lot of people uncomfortable. Good.

A few weeks ago I sat down with Kathleen Stewart and we talked for 3 hours straight. It was so good I split it into three separate 60 minute episodes. This is Part 3 the final one and honestly it might be my favourite.
In Part 1 we went deep on Ben's cancer recovery and the full holistic protocol. In Part 2 Kathleen and I got into tracking, training, Ozempic and why most women aren't getting results. If you missed either of those I highly recommend listening to them first.
Part 3 is where we go deeper than the food and the training.
Because here's the thing. You can get the body. Check every box. Hit every target. And still not feel at peace. I know because I did exactly that. I got the physique and there was still something underneath that hadn't been dealt with. It took me 10 years and a lot of painful emotional work with my coach Greta to finally get there.
We talk about the Goldilocks spot, where is the body fat level and lifestyle that actually fits YOUR life, not someone e...
A few weeks ago I sat down with Kathleen Stewart and we talked for 3 hours straight. It was so good I split it into three separate 60 minute episodes. This is Part 2.
In Part 1 we went deep on my brother Ben's cancer recovery, the full holistic protocol, why eating enough was non-negotiable, and the emotional root cause that drove every bad habit. If you missed it, I would highly recommend listening to it first.
In Part 2 Kathleen and I get into the stuff that I know so many of you are frustrated about.
Why are you doing everything right and still not getting results?
We talk about why cardio isn't the answer most women think it is. Why Ozempic isn't a long term solution and what actually happens to your body when you stop. Why tracking your food isn't obsessive, it's actually the thing that eventually sets you completely free. And why the number on the scale probably needs to be higher than you think it does if you actually want the body composition you're chasing.
We also get...
A few weeks ago I sat down with Kathleen Stewart and we talked for 3 hours straight. I loved it so much I couldn't bring myself to cut it down so I've split it into three separate 60 minute episodes instead.
In Part 1 we dive deep into something really personal to me.
My brother was told he had 14 months to live. That only 15% of people with this type of cancer survive beyond 5 years.
Stage 4 sarcoma. A muscle cancer. Lumps appearing all over his body. The oncologist said that this type of cancer doesn’t respond well to chemo but they'd try.
He was already undereating, drinking, on antidepressants, and living in fear. Genuinely terrified of dying.
And then at 7 months, his doctor looked at his scans: "I can't see any cancer in your body, we’ve never seen this before."
Here's what I want you to understand: it wasn't one thing. It was a system. Food first. Enough of it. Liver, oysters, eggs, dairy. Never hungry. Supplements. Sunlight. Movement. Getting off the antidepressants. A...
Meet Leanne. 48 years old, working full time, living in the NT and quietly transforming her health in a way that left her doctor shaking her head.
She’s now
✅ Lost 16.3kg
✅ Gained muscle
✅ Lost 69cm off her body
✅ Reduced body fat by 11.2%
✅ Got her blood sugar, cholesterol, liver AND vitamin D all back in normal range
And she did it eating 2,000 calories a day. Including pasta. Risotto. Home made Cherry ripe slice. Every. Single. Day.
When her doctor asked what she was doing, she said "I'm eating real food”.
Her doctor's response? "You've clearly rebooted your metabolism."
This is what eating metabolically does. It's not about starving yourself, cutting carbs or surviving on 1,200 calories. It's about nourishing your body so it actually works FOR you.
Leanne is still on her journey and she's already changed her future. 🧡
I sat down with her on the podcast and she held nothing back: the doctor's visit, the food she eats, the mindset shifts, the training, all of it.
...18 months from now you could be the woman who meal preps without thinking, eats delicious carbs and more food without guilt, feels good in her body, loves her training and how strong she is, and never dreads Monday morning again.
OR you could still be starting over every week. 😅
The difference? This conversation.
Aram and I went full no-BS on what actually creates a lasting transformation and it's probably not what you think.

I’m honestly so excited about this episode 🥹
We’ve known Kate Deering since we opened the gym back in 2015, and she’s had such a huge influence on the way we think about metabolism, hormones, and women’s health.
We’ve worked with her on and off over the years, learned so much from her, and she’s just one of those people who really understands how the body works.
So this conversation felt really special.
Her new book Better Energy is incredible. Craig actually wrote the foreword, and I got to write a piece for the back, which felt very cool (and a bit surreal tbh).
But more than that, it’s a resource I genuinely think every woman should have.
Because what we talk about in this episode is the missing piece for so many women:
👉 energy
Not just “feeling tired”… but how well your body actually produces energy at a cellular level, and how that impacts your metabolism, your hormones, your sleep, your weight, and how you feel day to day.
So many women are doing everything “right”… ...
For 12 years Rochelle slowly gained weight and felt completely stuck. She knew she wasn’t feeling her best, but there was a deeper problem beneath the surface.
In her twenties she had struggled with anorexia and bulimia. So every time she thought about losing weight, it brought up the fear of going back to that place again.
She didn’t want to punish her body. She didn’t want to obsess over food. And she definitely didn’t want to pass that relationship with food onto her daughter.
So for years she stayed in this frustrating middle ground. Not dieting, but not feeling strong or healthy either.
When Rochelle joined the program she was terrified of even stepping on the scales.
Fast forward 10 months.
She has lost 14 kilos. She has gained over 5 kilos of muscle. She has lost roughly 19 kilos of body fat. And she now deadlifts 110 kilos.
But the most powerful transformation was not just physical.
She rebuilt her relationship with food. She stopped fearing carbs. She stopped fearin...
